Henry James, the famous author and playright, was by all acounts a lover of Italy especially all things Venice. We are currently reading his travelogues of his many trips to this amazing country. His Victorian words are a nice companion to all the modern ones.
"The mere use of one's eyes in Venice is happiness enough."
